Kids and Teen Coaching
As an experienced educator who has worked in the public schools with both middle and high school students, I have keen insight into the emotional dilemmas that teens go through. This has enabled me to offer specialization in teen Life Coaching which provides very practical ways for teens to achieve better self-awareness, anger management, grades in school, emotional intelligence, and inner and outer balance. I have worked with teens regularly in my office in Raritan, New Jersey and have even done in-home visits at times. Rates are based on the amount of sessions purchased. As a jewish kid, I have been to therapy before, what Jew hasn’t! I wish that my parents had known about coaching and teen coaching. I feel it would have helped me a lot with all the challenges I was facing.
Sometimes you need to be motivated first, then working on “problems” becomes a small part of the whole improvement process. A lot of therapy focuses purely on the problems and how to solve them, coaching tackles them as a part of the whole process.

Jeffrey: your insights about the differences between therapy and coaching are very wise. Yes, coaching is great for many because it gets you moving on practical solutions and action plans, while working on your inner self simultaneously. Thank you for visiting the site and sharing with us.
